They call it an ulcer (I don't know if that's a different condition), but his was also on the left vocal cord. Now for the big news. Dickie V went under the knife on Dec. 18th. On his webiste letter to fans, he says he didn't utter a single word for 3-1/2 weeks. Yup. First words spoken: January 13th.
